I don't even know if logmein uses http, but that might cause problems if they did.

I have run in to the same problem. I didn't have a problem until 8.1. And even then it wasn't immediate. It took several weeks to service. I tried opening a port range suggested in another post which seemed to work for a week or so. Then the same problem came back. I have only encountered it where I am going out through UT via Logmein. I have not seen it where the box to be remote controlled is behind Untangle.
