I haven't been aware of any problems with this Untangle box except that it fails two tests. Now that I'm having some problems setting up an ftp server on the LAN behind the Untangle box, it seems like maybe I should try to understand these test failures.

Here's the troubleshooting info:

On the Untangle server

Under config->network->troubleshooting:

Use the connectivity test, Does it succeed? DNS good, TCP failed

Testing DNS ... OK
Testing TCP Connectivity ... FAILED

Using the ping test, can it ping Untangle's gateway? Yes
Using the ping test, can it ping 8.8.8.8? Yes
Using the ping test, can it ping google.com? Yes
Using the connection test, can it connect to google.com port 80? No:

On a machine outside the network (if available)
