Nothing to be embarrassed about, I'm just throwing it out there for disclosure. The places I've used powerline Ethernet tech are high end homes where pulling a network cable is either impossible without significant renovation, or unwanted because there's no way to hide it. People with multi-million dollar homes are oddly defensive about them, imagine that! I've never seen an adapter get through two breaker panels. I hadn't considered if they weren't encrypted data might leak onto the local grid! This thread has been an education.
