    Default DuckDNS DDNS support

    I was using a service for dynamic dns from duckdns.org. On my Turris box I was able to enter a custom DDNS service configuration. Is there any way I can still use this service with my Untangle box? There's instructions for configuring on various operating systems, routers, and standards at www dot duckdns dot org/install.jsp. (sorry can't post URLs yet as my post count is too low)

    I've tried various methods but nothing seems to work.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Config -> Network -> Hostname

    If I understand you correctly.

    Duckdns is not in the current list of supported dynamic DNS providers. Duckdns was added at r179 patch of ddclient so we will need to see if the Debian version of ddclient has that patch. https://jira.untangle.com/browse/NGFW-11375

    According to the ddclient release notes for ddclient 3.8.3 - adding support for duckdns - patch send by @gkranis

    Searching on debians package search at
    ht t p s://packages <dot> debian <dot> org/search?keywords=ddclient&searchon=names&suite=stable&section=all I see stable is at 3.8.3-1.1 so that means it should be supported, right? Does Untangle need to do some further development?

    BTW. The whole not being able to post links until I have 5 posts is a real pain in the butt.

    Ddclient 3.8.3 is in Debian Stretch. Once Untangle moves to Stretch, it will be included.
