Default Specify DNS servers for a 1 host

    Hi,

I would like to know if its possible to specify a separate set of DNS servers for a specific host to use, using DHCP or similar.

I have a host in which I cannot set the DNS servers manually and I want it to use a specific DNS server, but I don't want all other hosts on my network use these servers.

I see I can use custom DNSMASQ settings but I'm not sure how to do it. If anyone can assist I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Nick

You can use a port forward rule for this. Port forward rules can work in both directions, so you can set a rule to match where the source IP is your special host and the port number is 53, and then set the new destination to your desired DNS server.

Thanks again for this. It seems to have worked as I need.
