"However, the gateway for vlan 10 external is 10.1.1.1 does not respond, so that "WAN" is offline. You need to figure out why 10.1.1.1 is not responding to ARP requests. They are being sent." –
YES that is the point! If I knew why it was doing that, I wouldn't be in this thread or have opened a support ticket.
as for not being able to reproduce it, unless you can show me where i went wrong in the fresh build i setup just for this thread, i can reproduce it 100 times out 100. it does it when its behind a sonicwall or behind a unifi usg pro. it does it when its in front of a TPlink smart switch or a unifi switch. I’m out of hardware vendors to try on both ends of the bridge at this point. The only thing common is v14.
I don't know if It's a total fluke or not, but the two systems I’ve had running v14 that have vlans setup, after about 24 hours of uptime they started rebooting and would get stuck in a boot loop. none of my non vlan systems have done this (so far). so, the system i setup last night for this thread is no longer and a new UID is available if you want me to email it to you. and yes, 4th fresh install in two days that exhibits this behavior with vlans.
Please, show me in untangle where I’ve configured vlans wrong for v14 and I will happily change it.
