    Default Untangle and IPTV

If you search for solution for IPTV in the forum, lot of people giving up Untangle for other products.

If you open https://www.untangle.com/solutions/hospitality/ and search for IPTV you find "Provide optimal QoS for in-room technologies such as VoIP, VOD, IPTV & VPN"

If I search for "Untangle iptv" I have only found users struggeling with IGMP and giving up.

    I'm soon getting IPTV.

Shall I give up Untangle like many others and get an other product?
Will I ever get IPTV to work with IPTV?
Will I ever get a positive result when I search for Untangle and IPTV?

I too never got it to work. Kept untangle though and connected the TV box directly to the router bypassing untangle....
I don't think this will change soon..... unfortunately.

I use kodi to watch tv and it works fine. Not sure what type of iptv you are getting. If you have a good isp and setup qos properly it should work. Only one way to find out tho, try it.

    Good luck

I am getting Telenor in Norway! They have a ADB 5743 box that is the issue. I can use their app T-We on apple tv and Andoid with google Chrome.
Looks like I'm going for Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 4 and using this link to get it to work: https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-...599017#M122439

Bytheway: I have sent this link on a Untangle Support case. They have not had time to answer me yet.

As other users say: Thank you Untangle for some very good time with many fine features, but due to my oncomming IPTV problem I must change system.

I have also iptv in home and i do double nat forwarding everything to untangle wth dmz to it. Iptv is connected to the provider modem and everything is working fine. Also my telephony is voip and the telephones are also connected to the providers router.
I am losing 1ms of latency because of double nat which its perfect.
I dont understand why you don't do that? It's the 11th god law in mouse's tablet that says "You shall not do double nat because many bad things will fell upon you".

I hate double NAT not because it doesn't work, but because it creates visibility problems that turn simple issues into nightmares.

It's usually pretty easy to disable NAT on a device, and run it as a NAT'less router, then the logs get a ton clearer. But you have to learn how static routes actually work to make it fly.
