    Default VLAN Tagging for WAN

    Hi,

I am new to untangle. My ISP tags internet with VLAN 201 with PPPoE authentication. I have followed the instructions of a few other forum posts to no avail to get this working. I can confirm that I have internet and can get it working with an Asus router.

I have followed the instructions below with a similar setup as mine. (post #3 is how I've set it up)

    forums.untangle.com/networking/40910-vlan-tagging.html#post228187

I am running untangled 14.1 and don't have a subscription yet. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to get this working.

First thing I notice is your VLAN ID is 35 but your ISP requires 201

I should have mentioned that. I do have 201 as my VLAN ID (different from the image).

I would post screen captures of your own setup.

I will be able to do that later tonight. Is there any other configuration file I can output that would be helpful for troubleshooting?

Below are the screenshots of my specific configuration. Please advise on how to fix this.

The settings look correct. I would look at /var/log/pppoe.log to see if the login is accepted or if there is any communication between the Untangle and modem.

Got it working. It turns out the issue was with the PPPoE username and password. I had changed my Centurylink contract which changed my password. For some reason, my previous router continued to authenticate for a while with the expired password.

    Thanks for the help.
