    Default Dynamic DNS Provider Suggestions

After banging my head against the wall trying to get dynamic DNS to work via FreeDNS, I thought there must be an easier way.

What DDNS providers are you using and are you happy with them?

Dyndns, org works very well but its not free. Would be nice if untangle provided a service. LOL

    Any particular difficulty with FreeDNS?

I have a few domains, which after using multiple domain name providers over the years, I ended up parking at Google domains (very straightforward domain provider to deal with) and I use their DDNS now, which is very simple to use.

I used to use DynDNS (like many people) and then moved to dns-o-matic/OpenDNS before doing everything at Google domains.

    Try

    http://www.duckdns.org/

    Free. Hosted on AWS.

I have used it for a couple of years.

Hilariously, duckdns.org is flagged by untangle's IPS app :-)

You say that as if it's a bad thing.

Nope, all good. I just found it funny that as I tried to click on the link, the browser didn't reach the link and I got an email from IPS :-)

I moved over my domain to google domains and it includes free ddns which integrates with untangle.

duckdns.org is awesome. I paid $5 or something to help support the development. Totally worth it.

Duckdns is a good one. Iíve used No-IP in the past and they were fine too.
