    Default Odd VLAN Issue

    Hi guys,

I have acquired an Nexus 6P phone, it is unable to obtain an IP from any WiFi my networks that has a VLAN assigned to it.

If I setup a WiFi network that has no VLAN associated with it, the 6P will connect instantly.

My network setup is is Untangle -----> Unifi Switch -----> Several Unifi AP-----> several different WiFi SSID's with VLAN Associated

I have several WiFI devices on the network that have no issues obtaining an IP address from any of the WiFi networks that have VLAN's associated with them.

I am not sure if this is a Unifi problem, or an Untangle problem, or even a Nexus 6P problem and have no clue how to further troubleshot the situation. I cannot allow the Nexus 6P access to the untagged network, as this network has all of the admin devices on it.

    Thanks

Whitelisting on the Unifi? Or hidden SSID's on the AP's?
SSLInspector on the Untangle and no cert installed on the phone?

I managed to figure it out.

I disabled "Fast Roaming". It now works perfectly fine.

    Problem solved!

Fast Roaming... between that and uplink detect...

The two annoying tick boxes for Unifi networks!
