    Default Dynamic DNS with multiple WAN

    hi,

    i was wondering what connection is UT using for the Dynamic IP settings if multiple WAN are present ?

    Unfortunately Untangle does not support ddclient on multiple WANs.

    Wow.... 2014, I don't use it anymore. Since ddclient.conf gets overwritten after applying new settings, a better option is to create an additional conf file and run it with a cron task.

    I assume it runs properly with multiple WAN interfaces and it's just subject to whatever WAN balancer/WAN failover rules (instead of being stuck statically on one interface)?

    Yeah, the client just uses whatever WAN it uses and you can't really control which. And you can't use Balancer's source route rules, because that's a rack app and Untangle isn't subject to its own apps.
