    So... if you can telnet to your WAN IP on tcp 443, and get a web response from outside the network, but not inside the network... your fault is right there. Your gateway isn't forwarding the packets correctly, in effect that source interface external block you had running before... except potentially on a device you can't configure well enough to fix it.

    This is why I said you might have to use DNS to bypass the problem by having internal clients resolve the public name in question to Untangle's External IP, so it can forward it on. Of course, if this winds up being what you do... they SHOULD be resolving the IP of the web server, because Untangle has no business doing NAT when it's not on the border of your network at all. But see above warnings about that. NAT'less Untangle routers are a very powerful thing, but they aren't always easy.

    well, I feel pretty dumb...

    The problem was with how I set up my networks and VLANs. I setup VLAN-100 as a guest network cutting off communication...
