    Default Unable to clear failed DNS admin notifications

    Hello Untangle Champions,

    Each time I login, I am seeing Admin Notifications that the Google DNS servers are unreachable despite not having those servers configured anywhere on the device. I did use Google DNS during initial setup but those have since been replaced with my own internal + Cloudflare's DNS.

    Based on my research, it looks like these tests are performed during each login or refresh of the browser. I have double-checked each of the following locations to ensure Google's DNS is not config'd anywhere on the device:

    • Config --> Network --> WAN interfaces
    • Config --> DNS Server (I know this shouldn't matter but still double-checked anyway)
    • Config --> Network --> Advanced --> DNS & DHCP
    • Filesystem --> /etc/resolv.conf

    So, what am I missing here? Or is this maybe a defect?

    Thanks in advance fo your insights...

    Thanks @gravenscroft but I do not have a support contract so is this still an option?

    Submit it anyway. All they can do is say no. In the past they would look at it anyway. Hope it is still the same.
