    Default Ipv6

    Hi

I have changed my router to Untangle and I mostly use it for gaming.

My router hardware is I5 processor with 8GB DDDR4 memory.

I have connected only my Xbox x and my computer. But I find my xbox odoesnt get IPV6 address. I am looking for suggestion/help to how to get IPV6 address.

    Thanks
    Badri M

We currently do not support DHCPv6 on NGFW. You could assigned an IPv6 to the device and NGFW will do IPv6 passthrough.

IPV6 is supported only in bridge mode? I have my internet connected using PPPoE and VLAN. Will it work?

    Thanks

IPv6 has limited support with router or transparent mode. PPPoE requires DHCPv6 for IPv6 so in this case NGFW is probably not the solution.

Is there an update on when we can expect DHCPv6?

It's planned but not set for a targeted release yet.
