Default Forward internal traffic to an internal IP

    Howdy,
I am currently having pihole handle my internal DNS. I have an existing rule to block outbound DNS.
Is there a way I can forward these hard-coded DNS requests (IoT devices going to 8.8.8.8 for example) to my pihole instead of outright blocking that traffic?

Like an internal to internal portforward/nat?

Yes, Port forward works in either direction. Port forward rule:

    - Interface is non WAN
    - UDP
    - Port 53

Redirect to <IP of Pihole server>

You will probably need to add a condition of "source IP not <IP of Pihole>" so Pihole is not redirected to itself.

Great, this is what I was thinking too.

And great catch on the last condition!
