Default NGFW: Bypass sessions didnt show up in Reports

    Hi

I am using Untangle for the last few months. For gaming, I have bypassed my xbox x address in Bypass rule. And when I verified whether rule working or not I didnt see any sessions bypassed from xbox.

And I tried adding my console in DHCP but it didnt show in lease section.

I tried portforwarding as well, but in Reports-Network-Portforwarded session nothing displayed.

Am I doing any mistake here? Could you please help on this?

    Thanks
    Badri M

That is rather the point of bypass.

Performing the above is a great way to run a server out of drive space. NEVER log bypassed sessions for long.

As for the rest, let's start with what you're trying to do? Because you just basically spewed forth a ton of features that have nothing to do with each other and asked "why broke?".

We need context... and you need to RTFM. I'd love to even aim you at a specific section of the manual, but I can't do that with what's given here.

Thanks. I can see bypassed sessions in log.

To do port forwarding, I did configuration like in attachment for portforwarding. Is it right way?

For gaming, I want to portforward few ports. Its all for testing.

    I appreciate your help.

    Thanks

Still insufficient, port forwarding is for hosting a game server. And while consoles can work in that way, typically you use uPNP to achieve it, not a manual port forward. If you want to do a manual port forward, we need to know specifically what game you're trying to host a server for... And specifically what is NOT working without a forward.

Forwards also have nothing to do with bypass, two very different things.

    Hi

I understood, Portforwarding in Untangle is not similar to other consumer router I guess. I am using UpNp and its doing its job.

    Thanks

It's exactly the same before you hit the advanced button, then it's a ton more flexible.
