    I assume Mr. Morris means it will display whatever interface is attached to the External role? Eth0 is rather fluid..

    No I literally mean eth0. It wouldn't be too hard to lookup your External interface and display that, but its certainly not something we'll be doing in a minor dot release.

    For now, people can just make sure their WAN interface is always eth0. Difficult for installations already in place, but easy for new ones.

    Ok... so what is the point of even making the change? External is eth5 on the big box I have in service. If you're going to make an addition to the product shouldn't you at least be making changes consistent with the abilities of the unit? Why do we have the ability to reassign interfaces at all if we're going to randomly start locking features to a specific network card?
