NGFW v16.0.0 RC available!

NGFW v16.0.0 RC is now available and is a major new release including WireGuard VPN and UEFI Installer.

We no longer provide an image for USB since the ISO is bootable and can be written to a USB for a bootable USB installer.

Notice: 32 bit installer has been EOL. Existing 32 bit systems will upgrade to this version. Backups from 32 bit will also restore on 64 bit installs.

When will the upgrade be available for me?
Upgrades are rolled out over time to the existing servers. If you want the upgrade immediately, email your box UID to support and request adding your UID to the Early Upgrade List.


Does the upgrade require a reboot?
The upgrade will reboot automatically at the end since a new kernel is included with this release.

Installed as a proxmox vm and imported 16 beta config. All seems well so far.

As of today Wireguard is still part of Complete only.

I installed the iso, and in command center I removed the old install (15.1.1 NGFW on same device) from cc. I thought that would free up a license, but no license shows available for the same device with NGFW16. Noticed that the file I downloaded still said Beta. Your post led me to think that this was the 16.0 version. What should I do? Thanks.

My bad. I rebooted device, and license was available. Weird that it couldn't connect to the internet, and yet I was using it to. Sorry for the bother.

Looks good to me.

Tip for WireGuard if you want to do full tunnel is to add/modify "AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0" in the wireguard config.
Or under /admin/index.do#service/wireguard-vpn/settings modify "Local Networks:" to include 0.0.0.0/0.
