    Question Can't unassign subscription ?

    I go into Subscriptions->select Manage->select Unassign subscription from 1234-xxxxxxxxx-5678 -> select save ... and get the message "We could not update your subscription-no changes have been made". What am I doing wrong? The current subscription is assigned to an old installation I did while troubleshooting(it no longer exists).

    It now works and I have assigned the subscription to a new appliance, so I assume there is a lag between subscription management and new appliances.

    More likely something on the backend was busted and support saw it and smacked it. Sub moves are usually instant. The only time I've seen them get grumpy is when you have a server that's already registered to another account, because then you're either nuking the box to get a new UID or you're into the other account to remove the server there so it can be put onto the correct account that has the sub.
