Default Remote Administration of UT via always up VPN

    Hello,

I have 2 UTs, which are tied together by an always up VPN.

So far when I want to do some remote administration I use the VPN to get on a remote machine, and then navigate to the remote's UT box and get to the web interface.

I keep thinking there must be some setting to allow me to directly reach the remote's UT box, however the remote UT box's web UI never resolves across the connection. Everything else between the two sites work fine ( modulo TIVO stuff )

the VPN of course is coming in via the WAN connection. Must I enable "Allow HTTPS over WAN" to be able to do remote administration this way ?

if so I'll have to lock it down somehow.

That is a known issue with IPsec on UT. I highly recommend using WireGuard instead or use Command Center to remotely admin the UTs.

The amount of snow is insane this year. The slopes are full on the weekends but if you can ski during the week, it's great.
