    Default QoS Issue

    Hi

    I have been using Untangle for more than 6 months and I am happy with that. But I experienced couple of issues when controlling QoS. When plug out and plug in back the WAN cable QoS doesnt work properly. Mostly it affects upload speed. To fix it again i have to restart the router. Has anyone experience similar issue and any fix there?

    I have a Gigabit connection. But I have configured 500MBPS for both upload and download. When I plug out and plug in the WAN cable I am getting full gigabit speed instead of the configured bandwidth. In DSL report the spike is higher than usual. To fix this I have to restart the router. I assumed plugging out the WAN cable when the router is own breaks the QoS configuration.
