    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh man this is just epic....

IE 8 cannot access the above URL... so if you guys have corporate licenses with Microsoft and you've installed IE8 you're so boned. Firefox and IE7 work fine.

Maybe it was slow from everyone at microsoft trying to log into the web to watch Michael Jackson's memorial. Or maybe they were watching from your office.

No issues accessing e-open today, downloaded EXCH07 this morning, and just checked access again, no probs. I will say however that the site does have it's share of issues, have had probs accessing it before today, but usually try back in an hour or so and works...

I've been migrating as much as possible over to Linux. My current favorite distro is Mint x64 :-)

Yeah the site is always a bit strange... anyone else seeing a blanket doesn't even bother to connect situation? I've got 3 machines on three networks, 2 untangled, 1 not, they all have IE 8 and none can even see the site. The browser behaves as if DNS isn't resolving.

And Mike I hear you... I'm doing the same.

How can you get "more" user friendly than boring Debian?

It's all sorts of sexy based off of a good distro. I mean come on, its a great place for people to begin ditching windows. Its solid, pretty, now comes in 32bit and 64bit, loaded with all the basics to get you started. I've installed mint on a few boxes and did not have to touch anything. Just started using it as if I had it tweaked to my personal liking. Which I generally spend a week doing on my windows boxes as I run into things.

    and again eopen is annoying!

I vote for Microsoft to move windows to open source! And just charge for support! Licensing is just the most annoying thing ever. :-P However I dont think hell is freezing over anytime soon ;-)
