    by the way if someone know of any good alts to Autocad I would be in your debt. I have looked the websites mentioned but none of them look promising. I pretty much need it for land surveying, so it needs to accurate and pretty much 2D. Most importantly It needs to read DWG files and be able to create them also.

    This list is rather inclusive, however, due to some shortcomings in the Vista and XP defragmenter I've been forced to look around for a better option.

    www.mydegrag.com, used to be JKDefrag, open source defrag util that runs against the MS provided defrag API. It's flexible and quite potent.
