I am surprised no one said VMWare earlier.

Please do not pollute this thread with things not related to the topic.

OSSIM: OSSIM stands for Open Source Security Information Management. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive compilation of tools which, when working together, grant network/security administrators with a detailed view over each and every aspect of his or her networks, hosts, physical access devices, server, etc.

I use Forticlient, what a brilliant package, it has everything built into it, Anti-Virus, Firewall, Webfilter(per client), VPN + web optimization.

Test it and let me know what you guys think

I just saw an internet show where they were talking about VMWare vs Virtual Box. They mentioned in there that the new VMWare player will allow for VM creations and support for windows 7 and vista aero glass.

I believe it is free, the past versions of VMWare player were.

There is a RC of VMWare Player 3.0
And yes you will be able to create VM with that.
And it will be free (but registration on vmware.com will be needed)

VMware has made several very significant enhancements to this product. Foremost, you will notice that we have finally added the ability to create Virtual Machines! Additionally, we have designed a new user interface including a library for you to access your recently used VMs. VMware Player now supports installing VMware Tools into your guest operating system to give you all of the powerful features that make it easier to work with a virtual machine including Drag and Drop, Cut and Paste and Unity!

We hope that you enjoy evaluating this VMware Player Release Candidate and we look forward to receiving your feedback.
