    Default Trying to bridge--gateway trouble

    Hello, folks.

I'm trying to bridge two "virtual private servers" of mine together using OpenVPN. In the past I've had good luck with this, but I can't seem to figure it out for these VPSes. What is throwing me is that they have a gateway that isn't on the same subnet as any IP address for the system.

The host provides a public IP to me, let's say 74.123.123.123. The default gateway for the system is 10.255.255.1, however. If I want to assign a private IP space for use between my two servers of say 192.168.200.* and try to configure OpenVPN to use an address pool between 192.168.200.0 and 192.168.200.255, it fails to start because the gateway isn't on the same subnet.

Any ideas on how to do what I want?

Tbird you're in the wrong place man!

This forum is for OpenVPN as it relates to the Untangle UTM. You need to take your question to the OpenVPN community at www.openvpn.net

My apologies. I thought untangle was a community site.
