Site to Site - Windows File Sharing - Not Working

We have an untangle box at our office and I've now set one up at home to use for testing SQL syncronization stability.

At the moment I'm trying to pass some files over the VPN but I can't use windows file sharing.

I can confirm I can ping Machines both ways and use services such as Remote Desktop, VNC, etc. I am just unable to access file shares via.
\\192.168.0.8\Shared

The box at home is the server and my network there is 192.168.0.0
The box at work is the client and our network there is 192.168.1.0

The subnet mask on both is 255.255.255.0

Routers at both sites have IPSEC passthrough and the Untangle box is in their DMZ.

Any ideas anybody? Any input would be much appreciated.

Windows firewall defaults to only allowing the local subnet to connect. Either disable it or fix the scope.

I ad one like this Tuesday. I also found out (via RDP) that he didn't setup his box to share anything. Turning off Windows firewall let me see drive C via the VPN, and sharing drive C let me have full access. IF YOU DO THIS, make sure that you only share directories that you want available. You wouldn't want Grandma to see the porn collection you've been carefully cultivating since you discovered it was there.

Sharing the root of any drive = bad

True. Quick & dirty to verify functionality is permissible, providing that it is ***extremely*** clear what was done to verify functionality, along with recommendations of how to set it up properly.
