Default OpepVPN full tunnel stopped working , why?

I got the OpenVPN to work with full tunnel! And suddenly full tunnel stopped working. I have tried to uninstall the OpenVPN app with no luck. I tried to find solution in the forum with no luck. I have cheked the "full tunnel" checkbox.

Is there a hidden logfile anywhere?

I hope someone can give me a tip to make it to work again!

    Best regards

Is the client not connecting or is the traffic split?

Client is connecting to my untangle. I see the clients in OpenVPN app. But clients are not able to get internal resources (disk shares)

I suspect it is an issue with SMB sharing. There are know issues with some SMB file sharing across VPNs (generally, not specific to Untangle). Can you ping the IP of the share.

Iam using Windows Homeserver. And yes, I am able to ping the server. The most scary thing is that it worked for some days ago. But it is as you say, can be something with WHS. I'am trying to access my Blue Iris server with no success. It is using port 81. I am able to connect my Untagle webinterface. Hmmm what can be the issue here?

If you can ping the device then the tunnel is working. With all the Windows updates lately, you will have to debug the sharing issue. I would first start with turning Windows firewall off as it does not allow non-LAN IPs to connect.

Ok! I am getting to my Untangle webinterface, so I will take a closer look! Thank you! You can close the case!

Note, you cannot disable the Windows Firewall service, you must use the control panel applet to disable it for the adapter in question. If you stop the service, the OS goes into lock down. The darned thing fails shut!

But if you can ping, that usually means the firewall isn't the issue.

I have had plenty of cases where Windows boxes refuse to respond to name though, I'd try SMB over the IP address if possible.
