Nope, if that's the case just leave it alone. All you have to do is make sure the DNS record is updated after the IP swap and the clients distributed with that name will work just fine.

You can verify the openvpn configuration yourself if you wish, just pick a machine and open the .ovpn file you put in the config folder with a text editor, look for a remote line. It should have your DNS name in it.
