Default Block Internet access for kids at night

I've attempted to do this in a number of ways but I am running into a roadblock.

I have already created a policy for my kids and have configured app blocking and have applied their usernames to their devices and have the policy applied to their username. That is working great.

What I cannot make work is adding a time of day/day of week condition to a rule. I've tried with the firewall, bandwidth control, and even a policy based on late night hours.

All of the dialog boxes seem to be the same for all of these apps and none of them appear to have a time or day as a choice of condition.

    Thanks in advance.

Time of day and day of week conditions are available in Policy Manager > Rules.

    Or am I missing something?

Looking at policy manager, it appears to turn entire apps on and off (like firewall) how do I tie a specific time to a single rule?

Apps are not turned off by Policy Manager. Policy Manager allows multiple policies and rules to switch sessions to various policies.

Add condition of day or time to the rule.

Ah, I am so sorry, I was so fixated on interpreting the policies, I did not notice the corresponding rules tab!!

Now if I could just get that VPN situation fixed....

Do the times carry across midnight? ie: 10pm Friday to 6am Saturday?
