    Default Report question

    Hi all,

I have some questions here regarding UT Report.

Can anyone please tell me what does it mean for Outbound and Inbound for Data Transferred?

I have a linux client which uses high bandwidth everyday. However, I can't find any section that proves where does the client go to except at the Activity Summary there. Can anyone please help me to find the prove?

    Please help me...Thank you

Inbound - how much data came into the Untangle
Outbound - how much data went out

So basically it tells you how much traffic went out and in.

If it is web traffic, take a look at the web filter module report. It should show you Web users (size)

    Thank you for the information.

Can I know the bandwidth usage for downloading and uploading from my clients?

Agreed. Is there a feature (or an addon) that can monitor internet bandwidth usage on a per-IP/user base? I'm running on a small network with limited montly internet cap, so pinpointing high downloaders, like neothe1's linux xlient, would help greatly.

Real-time...no. You can get daily information on reports. If you have a net-happy user, they will probably trigger Attack Blocker sometimes (or more often than that).

Untangle Reports -> Untangle Platform Report -> Detailed Report -> Active Summary tells you the traffic in megabytes per user. It doesn't break it down into upload/download.
