Default Force command to update REPORTS

There is any command to force the update of reports?

Like refresh full or something that give to me the information until the last moment.

Reports only operate on the previous days data, so the answer is no. You can't run a report on a partial day.

    Default Report running...

Hey mrunkel - I would assume your stuff is run by a cron job, couldn't your boy kick off a cron manually / early?

That would be a nice feature, I have to wait 24 hours to get data. What about another method? Where does the reporting data live? Is it a MySQL db? Maybe we could query that and he could write his own report with a php web server and a mysql connect?

Just trying to think out of the box. Reporting does seem to be lacking but I haven't had the opportunity myself to fully get into it. What I have seen though it seems to be lacking.

Thanks and keep up the great work with Untangle!

There is a way to run the current day report (Midnight - now).

**Warning** This is not recommended to be used frequently or during work hours as it puts quite a load on the box while processing the logs. Users behind the box could experience delays reaching Internet sites.

    On the terminal type /usr/lib/python2.5/reports/process.py --date=<tomorrow's date>

    i.e. /usr/lib/python2.5/reports/process.py --date=2010-08-12

This will provide the report for today from Midnight to when the command was executed.
