    I have tried both of my email providers. I can't see the whole exception text for Office365 but it appears that the connection from the Untangle server is being rejected by the 365 mail host. I get a "SMTP error from remote mail server after end of".

    Gmail will work but you have to take an exception to their security policy to get a connection.

    The cloud hosted relay worked fine for months until it didn't. The direct connection option doesn't work at all.

    Ok, problem resolved the 365 server is looking for a real mailbox on the domain vs. using the default of untangle@domain.com as the origin email address.

    If you're trying to integrate with 365, get a static IP address, stuff it on Untangle, add that to your SPF record, and send unauthenticated mail straight to the MX record on TCP 25. It always works... ALWAYS...

    Literally every other method I've tried results in problems at some point.
