    Default User/PC to address Map

With smaller networks, mapping users to static IPs or even using DHCP reservations might be ok. But, with larger networks or when managing many smaller networks, I could see this becoming a pain. We have internal DNS servers on the majority of our networks. For ease of management, every PC is served via DHCP from our primary server on-site (not Untangle). DHCP automatically and dynamically updates DNS. We also have it set this way in our test environment and have the Untangle box pointing to our internal DNS for name resolution. Is there a way for Untangle to map PC names to IP addresses through DNS for reports and such?

I see that pro has AD integration but is there a way to do what I mention above in the open version?

    Thanks again,

I think I see what you are asking.

Having the Untangle server do reverse lookups on the internal clients for reporting would be a neat feature.

Thanks for being able to succinctly state what I was attempting to ask in 2 paragraphs!
