Default Will Untangle NG 16.0.1 OpenVPN break SD-Wan e6 1.3 OpenVPN client

With the changes to NG 16.0.1 (OpenVPN) and no matching update for SD-WAN can we expect an incompatibility issue?
Given the weeks it took to modify SD-WAN 1.3 for PPPoE we are a little hesitant in an update to NG 16

Will WireGuard VPN appear in SD-WAN?

Wireguard is in sd-wan just not used. ssh to it and run
    Code:
    opkg update
    then
    Code:
    root@mfw:~# opkg list-upgradable |grep wire
    wireguard-tools - 0.0.20190123-1 - 1.0.20191226-1
    wireguard - 0.0.20190123-1 - 1.0.20200611-1
. You will see wireguard as upgradable. Quite old actually but it is not running anyway.
    Code:
    root@mfw:~# ps |grep wire
    24588 root 1056 S grep wire
    Or
    Code:
    opkg list-installed |grep wireguard
    .

For what it is worth my 16.01 openvpn is working threw sd-wan. But I have no idea what you changed.

Where are you getting this information? There were no major changes to OpenVPN in 16.0.1. The change was to the logic of when to restart OpenVPN after setting changes. Also on upgrade we keep the settings in OpenVPN so it does not break existing tunnel.

    A caution:

In my recent experience, upgrading from NGFW v16.0 RC to v16.0.1 did briefly disconnect a nailed-down VPN to SD-WAN due to a re-boot. It would be nice if the release notes reflected the re-boot requirement.

It is the lack of warning that appears to be the issue.
