    Default SQM in SD-WAN Router?

    Hello Untangle Crew,

Even though it was confirmed here before that SD-WAN Router uses SQM (https://forums.untangle.com/sd-wan-r...tml#post237104), it wasn't completely clear as to which specific qdisc: CAKE or fq_codel?

Also, it isn't explicitly clear in the GUI, but I presume the SQM qdisc gets activated when enabling WAN QoS (via Network > Interfaces > WAN# > QoS)?

    Thank you!

Yes it uses CAKE and yes you need to set QoS on your WAN interfaces. I've made a note that we need to include this requirement in our documentation regarding traffic shaping https://support.untangle.com/hc/en-u...-SD-WAN-Router
