    Default wrt1900acs v2 install

    Hi
I went ahead and got a wrt1900acs v2. Tested before installing and all was fine. I downloaded the image file and the md5 was fine. Installed sd-wan firmware and went smooth. During the setup the licence page took forever to load. Not sure how long but gave up after 5 minutes. Returned an hour or so later and it had loaded. Accepted and moved on.

I was running setup on wifi . The wan was pluged into my network that provides dhcp. Again this worked fine with linksys firmware.

On the wan setup I chose dhcp and got this error when hitting renew.
    Install error.png
"exec: "dhclient": executable file not found in $PATH"

I think dhclient is not installed and that openwrt uses udhcpc instead. On the ssh session.
    Code:
    root@mfw:~# dhclient
    -ash: dhclient: not found
Setting static also seems not to work.

    FYI

Does the WAN line have status icon green? You can PM your UID if you want me to look at it.

no. Pm coming. Don't think you can see anything though. It is added to my command center and it shows not connected.

I guess I need to clean out my mailbox. All done.

Yeah, the issue is the box is not seeing the link from the cable on WAN. Is that a v1 or v2 Linksys?

Yeah, it's not on command center. If the WAN interface status is not green, then it is not getting link from the network on the WAN.

But it was with the linksys firmware. And Nothing changed except adding sd-wan firmware.
