Ouch, this does sound like it should be fixed asap as this can cause major issues if interfaces just swap themselves around.

I actually didn't mean to be snippy. I apologize for that, though there definitely has to be more testing when it comes to rolling out changes that can break the singular most important function of a...
But they didn't have a show stopping bug that disabled internet if you blocked uncategorized.
Oh, come on. Less is not more. Sounds like Untangle is taking a page out of airline spin departments trying to make a loyalty program devaluation sound good. The fact is that many things are paired...
Overall, I am very disappointed with Untangle's business decision here. I feel like they went cheap to save a few dollars but they will lose customers over this. Our customers have had many issues...
Overall, in my experience, Brightcloud is *vastly* inferior to Zvelo. We spent a lot of time reporting miscategorized sites, and as pointed out the categories itself are not as granular. The other...
I was referring to Sky Ninja's post. In any case, I think we can all agree that Untangle supporting multiple SSIDs is a good thing, and a useful thing.
Every single location we set up has multiple SSIDs with separate vlans set up. Most use APs with a controller. But for a small office, using the integrated WiFi would be just fine, if Untangle...
You never set up different SSIDs with different vlans for different uses/access rights?
Why would integrated WiFi be any less reliable?
You're not thinking of a very typical use case for Untangle which is a small office environment that doesn't a whole fancy AP. Besides, Untangle sells devices with built in WiFi, why shouldn't they...
Simple question. Can the hardware in the UX25W support 2 SSIDs? I don't see why not. Have you ever heard of it being a hardware limitation? I've always understood it to be a software limitation.
...
Sorry about that. That didn't come out the way I intended it to. I just meant to say why shouldn't Untangle add that feature as it seems like a no brainer feature that is very useful.
Why should a small office get a separate device? And why should we be making excuses for Untangle? Companies want to sell products, therefore they should cater to customer demand and provide a...
Hi,
it seems there is no way to have multiple SSIDs on Untangle? I'm talking about without using external devices and APs. For example on the UX25W, it would be great to be able to have two...
You're right that it remains to be seen how useful it is, however it does appear that it will be easier to block predefined groups, so that's some progress.
It's the delete key or the F11 key. Either should work. Some KVMs won't work with it, unless there is no OS installed.
So.... my little thread here had an impact? :)

Say what? :)
Is this still the way to go?

I am having issues with it. It doesn't seem to be working. I can't get past the...
We've had nothing but problems with the Linksys 1900 WRT.
And it works!! Stupid me, "set as boot drive" was not checked off in the RAID controller.
I'm using an SSD. I tried without RAID, connected to the controller and connected to the embedded SATA port as above, and I tried it with RAID 0.
Thanks for all the help!
I tried that. I connected it to the embedded SATA port. It still wouldn't detect the disk. It only detects the External USB I'm booting off.
