The bridge mode seems to be your best solution. The problem is that untangle doesn´t support vlan tagging. The only solution you have is to put one ethernet on the untangle server to each vlan...

The installation guide is very simple.
The big issues comes out when you start configuring basic things, and later put it on production. I will hardly recommend you to test it very well...

I´ve experienced same thing.
If you have vlan tagging, be very carefull! it´s not supported! Because untangle works a level 7 it discards vlan tags for all trafic that goes into the untangle...

If you restore the backup file, be carefull with logs.
It will erase them all!
