Here's what I want to do. I want to just route all traffic through untangle, and I want untangle to connect to a vpn server and route all my traffic through it.
So here's the setup:
...
Works fer me using adblocker.
Is there a way to sync the ad blocking that the chrome adblock + uses? Because like... that gets no ads through, but untangle is like a 50% chance to block ads.
How can nobody know ? :(
So I see the web filter, but I only see a way to filter pass by ip, meaning that everyone who isn't that ip will have it blocked. I want it the otherway, where the web blocker only effects one ip....
Stop.
Go get pfsense... FreeBSD derviced. Untangle is great, but your network will explode.
Mine does that crap too, then it restarts sometimes :?
This is pretty funny, if you click the ads Untangle blocks them ROFLMAO. (The sites to visit that is, if you have the adblock function)
Oh woops, I wasn't thinking when I was typing. I meant to say it reloading untangle****(not pfsense, pfsense is the router beside it)
I don't know if it's hard rebooting, because I just notice my internets disconnect, at which point I try to connect to my router or modem, which I can't which then I walk back to where the untangle...
How can I check how many sessions I am connected to? I can see in pfsense on my router, but I am curious if the numbers match up 100%.
So if I torrent with like thousands of peers, and going at like 1.7 MB/s, Untangle has a tendency to just restart.
I am not sure why, but I have every free service enabled, well the important...
Why would you want to use telnet anyway? It's unsecure, use SSH.
Thanks Spiral, that was it. So is attack blocker stopping it because it thinks its a DDOS from a spam of packets or something?
So I saw on a forum, people were doing random pingtest.net scans. And I did the test, expecting like A+ grade, and I got a F. 50% packet loss? That's insane!
I have been on this for months, and...
And I figured it out, it was in packet filtering.
What examples?
I have done this before, but I want port 10,000 accesible. I forgot how I did this before. I remember I can't configure iptables manually, because once untangle is restarted it forgets my...
So basically I remember getting yelled at for installing webmin, and I see other people doing it :?
So I had an old box, p4 @ 2.0 ghz, 1 gig of ram, and after a week or so it would crash, basically the ram would be fillied up, and crash...
So I built a new box, e5300 @ 2.6 ghz, 2 gigs of ram, and...
Danke, works fine.
So say I don't want communication with a particular ip adress on wan, is this possible to just block all connections with it?(In untangle)
Well if it supports this flaw (I don't know if this works)
Press ESC at the grub prompt.
Press e for edit.
Highlight the line that begins kernel ………, press e
Go to the very end of the line,...
I don't use ad block on my browser I want untangle to stop them all. And I use chrome not FF.
