If these devices have fixed ip's (either with dhcp reservations or static ip's) you can just create a rule where you use the source IP.
If you prefer to work with tags you can just tag the devices...

Another option seems to be Opnsense with Sensei. Haven't tried it though, so can't speak about it's quality.
I honestly like Untangle too much. So I hope they won't even give me a reason to try it.
Threat Prevention not being in the home license was something I could understand. There is a cost involved for untangle and adding it to the home license made the home license not profitable anymore....
