    Question What is the difference?

    I known that Untangle wants us to stay out of the terminal, but I like tweaking things.

    What is the difference between these two directories;

    /etc/spamassassin
    /etc/mail/spamassassin

    They both have the same contents..

    I was told by another post on making a custom black list with a block.cf to put it in /etc/spamassassin

    Spamassassin Website @ (http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/CustomRulesets)
    States they want the rules placed into the /etc/mail/spamassassin

    So over all does anyone know the difference between these directories, or are they the same?

    Thanks for you input.

    I believe /etc/mail/spamassassin is a "symlink" to /etc/spamassassin

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbolic_link

    Do an ls -l in /etc/mail...

    /etc/mail # ls -l [root @ untangle]
    total 0
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 2008-06-30 17:21 spamassassin -> ../spamassassin/
    root@untangle#

    verses ls - l in /etc ...
