    My initial UT install was performed 6+ years ago. I can't recall what I had for lunch most days, so there's no way I'm going to remember the status of IPS from way back then.

    Man if that's the case it's time for a pave and reset on Version 10!

    Untangle from half a decade ago was a very different product, and if you use the same logic for rules on Untangle 10 all sorts of bad things happen.

    I try to keep things as close to the defaults as possible, to avoid future issues.

    We had this issue on our Untangles and we found the problem related to Intrusion Prevention,

    Unblocked SMTP (Content-Type overflow attempt) fix the problem.
