    Default Can locales be set?

    Hi All,

I just want to know if there's a way to set the locales in the SPAM blocker?

My reason for asking is because there are alot of japanese e-mails passing through my Untangle box and most of them are being given a high SPAM score .

I suspect that because of the Japanese characters, they are being rated as SPAM, when in-fact those are legit e-mails with Japanese characters in it.

    Anyway to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

Language detection and scoring information can be found here:

    http://spamassassin.apache.org/full/...n_TextCat.html

However, I don't recall the TextCat plugin being enabled by default in Untangle. And if it was, it would still require the ok_languages configuration option to be in the local.cf to make it actually know which languages to mark as acceptable.

If you have legit Japanese e-mails getting hit with high spam scores, then I'd recommend you create a either a whitelist for the sending e-mail address, or create a rule to detect the phases you want to receive and give them a negative score to bring the overall score back to below the spam threshold.
