So far we arent. At least I am not. The apt-get install works, but when I try to access it via the web, no go. No response.

I have installed it in my UT 6.1, I got the old version and some erros during the installation process. Actualy,I tried 3 times or more, but when I started ntop service manually, it worked. I haven't seen the new version of ntop but for what I need, the old version is good enough. see attachment!

Did you have to add a packet filter to UT in order for it to work? I'm stumped as to why I cannot load NTOP in my browser. The service is running.

So are you using the older sources at the beginning of this thread?

Yeap, I tried 3 times, could see the service running, but when I tried to access it through browser http://iputanglebox:4000, nothing opened up.

However; after I added the packet filter rule it worked!

I used the old sources..those did not work. Bunch of 404 errors.

Used new sources, but had problems with not being able to set the interface for ntop. I ran the commands. No dice.

Is there any way to completely remove ntop, I mean everything. I've already ran apt-get remove ntop. The thing is, I feel like past installs of it from all of this trial and error I've been doing to get it to work is causing issues.

Refer to: http://forums.untangle.com/tip-day/8...top-6-1-a.html for current instructions for 6.1 These have been used on around 11 clean Untangle 6.1 installs.
