    Default Disk utilization increasing

Recently cut to NGFW version 14. All is going great with the exception the disk file size is increasing continually. I have minimized logging in the event and disabled syslog and webfilter. After inspection of the log directory, it appears that the message log is 27G and the syslog file is 17G and increasing. I have a 500G Drive and it is 21% utilized and increasing by the minute. I would like to remove the archived syslog and message files! I need to understand the following:
    1. How do I remove these files without disrupting or compromising the integrity of the system
    2. What changes should be made to minimize logging.

    Thanks

The issue is associated with the log rotation count and schedule. How do I modify the log rotation schedule and retention period for the /var/log/syslog file and /var/log/messages file. Additionally, is it permissible to delete the rotated zipped log files. Will deletion of the gzipped files cause system instability?

    Thanks

The logging is fixed in the next release of v14.

Yes, the zip log files can be deleted if space is critical otherwise wait for the update.
