does Virus Blocker Lite actually use the ScoutIQ data during scanning, or does it only provide feedback to the ScoutIQ service for use by paid customers? The checkbox implies feedback only, but the documentation page claims ScoutIQ is actually used as a scanner.

    https://wiki.untangle.com/index.php/..._Lite#Advanced
"When a file is scanned by virus blocker, it is scanned by multiple engines, a local antivirus engine and the cloud ScoutIQ™ engine."

That's a good question. I'm guessing that since ClamAV is at the core of Lite ScoutIQ is in some passive role. But that's just a guess.

It's a good question in some need of an answer from Untangle. If the Lite version is indeed using ScoutIQ data for scanning, that'd be great to know. If it's not (as I suspect) then someone really ought to change the documentation... this would hardly be the first time where the docs say the product does something it actually doesn't do. Also, if using the ScoutIQ data is a benefit of the paid Virus Blocker, then the documentation shouldn't be undercutting that by claiming the Lite version does it too.
