    Default inbound traffic blocked

    Hello ALL,
Im trying to get my untangle server working correctly, two nights ago we deployed the box and all seemed well. Blocking traffic etc.... However for some reason all inbound traffic was not being allowed though

I currently have the untangle server in this configuration

    ISP ROUTER
    untangle
    EXTERNAL SWITCH
    pair of firewalls
    core switch/router

    is my placement wrong?

    welcome!
here is the recommended setup. you can either make the untangle your NAT device ( router mode ) or put it behind a device that does your NAT ( bridge mode )-

you need to create port forwards if you are on router mode.

I have it in bridge mode, which is what boggles my mine. I have used this product before and it works awesome.. however in other deplyments I have it configured in the following manner

    ISP ROUTER
    PIX
    UNTANGLE
    Core switch

In this deplyment I have it as followed
    ISP ROUTER
    untangle
    EXTERNAL SWITCH
Pair of firewall ( reason for the switch is our ISP has only one interface, we need four)
    internal switch

im wondering if my placement is wrong or if there is some other underlining problem here

Is it untangle blocking it or your pair of internal firewall?

From your ISP router, you are using bridge?
