    Default Web Filter rules

Under the web filter rules is it possible to match by domain etc.

So I have the client tagged, I then wish to pass *.sky.com

Is this where glob can be used in the variable http : hostname?

The traffic is http (80) looking at the logs.

Glob or regex? Used a regex convertor before with another vendor's product.

Take a look at this thread and see if it helps you any. Wildcards aren't always what you expect on untangle.

maybe *sky.com/ is what you need?

Based on RegEx I think it's this ^([a-zA-Z_0-9-]*\.)*sky.*$

    Will have a look thanks

To be clear it's the rules section within web filter I'm trying to setup, not the pass or block tabs

Did a test from my laptop and it works fine with the following by the looks of thinks

    Client MAC address
    host http *.sky.com

I tested it from a block aspect first and it worked perfectly.

So I've now changed the rule to pass.
