    Exclamation Disabled but Active

    We have had 4 appliances across 2 different clients have their WireGuard VPN go to a state that reports as: "WireGuard VPN is disabled but active"

    When in this state, ALL traffic across the tunnels cease for both remote clients and site-to-site links.

    The issue has occurred on multiple occasions, but across all sites on the same day (not just the one client on the same day - different clients and multiple appliances).

    In order to resume the communication, we simply click on the power/status toggle slider (red) and it resumes (to green).


    The EVENT report for WireGuard is not the most useful at the moment, but looking at the bandwidth, usage accumulation appears to reset at exactly midnight (12:00am). The appliance had NOT rebooted. (Uptime = 11 days on the example unit below).

    Support ticket has been lodged and awaiting response.

    Anyone else seeing the same behaviour in the wild?

    discovered the same condition on my unit running 16.1.1 today.

    This does not work if you are managing your UT through a wireguard tunnel!

    On my deivice goes "disabled but active" after reboot and dispite it claim to be active, the vpn doesn't work before it has been reenabled.
