can confirm, setting the access rules work great. I also had Wireguard previously running on a Raspberry pi (which I've since migrated to a VM) HomeAssistant server. Worked great until recently when it seems that some NAT issues w/ cel providers or MTU issues caused problems. So I switched to running WG on my Untangle box instead... worked great & cel/mtu issues went away, but I'd lose connectivity on my home wifi.

And yes, running a VPN tunnel within my own network is kinda silly/inefficient and I wish the client would recognize this scenario... but until that happens, this is a good workaround.
